Green or black pool water is usually the result of an algae bloom, triggered by a chemical imbalance, a missed service, a storm, or equipment failure. Left untreated it gets worse fast, and handling it the wrong way can cost you more time and money than it should.

Our Green-to-Clean Process
We assess the pool.
Not every green pool requires the same treatment. We evaluate the severity of the algae bloom, the current chemistry, and the condition of the equipment to determine the fastest and most effective approach.
Chemical treatment or drain & acid wash.
For most pools, a targeted chemical treatment — shocking, algaecide, proper filtration, and vacuuming — is all that's needed. For severe cases where the water is black or the bottom of the pool is full of debris, we'll likely recommend a full drain and acid wash to start completely fresh.
Filtration and monitoring.
After treatment, we run and monitor the filtration system to clear the water as quickly as possible. We'll follow up to make sure the chemistry is balanced and the pool is stable before we're done.
